Portion snus is in contradiction to the loose snus packed in pouches. The snus pouches are pre-shaped into suitable portions in different sizes for easy handling. Portion snus is mainly packed in two different kinds of pouches, the original and the white portions. Original portion snus is dark in the color and moist, with a rich flavor. The newer material of the snus pouches are the white portions, these were introduced in 2003. They are manufactured with another technique than the portion original. The portions have a white surface and have a slighter milder aroma and a longer lasting taste. The portion snus exists in three sizes, mini, large and maxi. |
